dc.description.abstract	Závislostní chování - patologické hráčství - negativně ovlivňuje mnoho oblastí života jedince, především sociální vztahy, ale i porušování společenských a právních norem. Patologický hráč, v důsledku této nemoci, ztrácí sebedůvěru a sociální dovednosti. Tak se dostává na okraj společnosti. Pak je nutné u něj provést socioterapii, sociální rehabilitaci. Tím uskutečňujeme jeho resocializaci. Resocializace znamená návrat do společnosti spojený se snahou o co největší soběstačnost a nezávislost jedince. V praktické části této diplomové práce se prokazuje, že bez samostatnosti a motivace není úspěšná resocializace možná. Východiska sociologického výzkumu zase poukazují na význam pro teorii a praxi.

dc.description.abstract-translated	Addictive behaviour pathological gambling has a negative influence on many areas of an individual's life, most notably social relationships, though also the violation of social and legal norms. Pathological gamblers lose their self-confidence and social skills as a result of this illness, as a result of which they may find themselves on the fringes of society. Social therapy and social rehabilitation, leading to their resocialisation, are then essential. Resocialisation means a return to society associated with an effort to achieve the greatest possible degree of self-sufficiency and independence, and the regeneration of the personality of the individual in question. The practical part of this dissertation demonstrates that successful resocialisation is not possible without independence and motivation. The practical points of departure of sociological research point to their importance in both theory and practice.
