Diplomová práce se zabývá životem a dílem Jeana Jacquesa Rousseaua, Ernesta Thompsona Setona a Karla Maye. Představuje především jejich pojetí postavy "ušlechtilého divocha", ale zabývá se také specifiky jejich pedagogických idejí a ideálů. Dále se zabývá reálným životem zejména severoamerických indiánů a tím, zda je jejich odkaz stále hodnotný. V práci budou také analyzovány pojmy "ušlechtilý divoch", "přirozenost" a "příroda", bezprostředně související s tématem práce. Práce se bude také snažit odpovědět na otázku, do jaké míry jsou myšlenky uvedených osobností živoucí a přínosné i dnes. |

This diploma thesis deals with the lives works of Jean Jacques Rousseau, Ernest Thompson Seton, and Karl May. First and foremost, the thesis introduces their conception of the archetype of a "noble savage." The thesis also deals with some specifics of their education-related ideas and ideals. The thesis further tackles issues of real life, particularly those related to the lives of North-American Indians, while pondering over whether or not their legacy continues to be valuable to this day. The thesis will also analyze the terms "noble savage" and "nature", which are essential to the topic of the thesis. The thesis will also attempt to answer the question of to what degree are the ideas of these above-mentioned persons alive and useful today. |
