dc.description.abstract	Práce se zabývá tématem možnosti zkvalitnění života seniorů žijících v domovech pro seniory. Teoretická část pojednává o pojmech stárnutí a stáří, o potřebách seniorů, o základních formách péče o seniory, dále popisuje kvalitu života seniorů. Praktická část se věnuje zmapování kvality života seniorů v domově pro seniory. Jedná se o kvalitativní výzkum, který se zaměřuje na spokojenost uživatelů s kvalitou prostředí, vzájemných vztahů, s kvalitou péče a nabízených služeb i volnočasových aktivit. Vyústěním práce bude vyhodnocení kvality života uživatelů, což vyplyne z analýzy dat získaných v osobních rozhovorech s uživateli. V neposlední řadě se také pokusím uvést možnosti využití sociální pedagogiky při zkvalitnění života a zvýšení spokojenosti seniorů.

dc.description.abstract-translated	My work is concerned with improving the quality of life of people living in homes for the elderly. The first part deals with the concept of old age and ageing, on needs of the elderly and forms of care for those people. Then it describes quality of lives focused on them. Practical part deals with the mapping of the quality of their lives in homes for the elderly. It focuses on user satisfaction with the quality of environment, relationships, quality of care, offered services and leisure activities. The result of my work will be evaluation of the quality of user lives which emerges from the analysis of the data obtained in interviews. Finally I will try to refer to the possibility of using social pedagogy in improving the lives and well-being of the elderly.
