dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma Romové a domovy pro seniory. Vzhledem k problematičnosti označování cílové skupiny bylo nezbytné na úvod práce vymezit to, kdo bude označován Romem. Dále se práce zaměřuje na rozbor tradiční a současné romské rodiny, na vývoj rodinných vazeb a postavení seniorů v rámci této rodiny. V praktické části je zjišťován pohled samotných Romů na vývoj romské rodiny, postavení seniora v ní a to, zda Romové uvažují o umístění seniorů do domovů pro seniory, nebo zda toto i nadále v současné době odmítají, stejně tak jako tomu bylo v minulosti.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis focuses on a topic of Romany people and senior housing. Due to the problematic nature of the target group's name (Romany) it was firstly necessary to specify the term Romany in the introduction part of the thesis. Furthermore the theoretical part of the thesis concentrates on the analysis of the traditional and contemporary Romany family, development of family relationships and the position of elderly within the family. The analytical part of the thesis investigates Romany people's point of view on the development of Romany family, position of retiree within the family and also whether Romany people consider the possibility of placing their seniors into retirement homes nowadays or if they still refuse this option as it was in the past.
