dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá canisterapií jako podpůrnou léčebnou metodou, která využívá kontaktů člověka a psa k pozitivnímu ovlivňování kvality života vybraných sociálních skupin. Věnuje se komplexnímu pojednání o metodě canisterapie a vysvětlení její podstaty v rovině humánně - animálních interakcí. Uvádí specifika canisterapie zaměřená na konkrétní možnosti využití této metody při naplňování potřeb seniorů a při pozitivním ovlivňování kvality jejich života. Cílem praktické části je zjištění míry spokojenosti seniorů v závislosti na použití metody canisterapie a její vliv na kvalitu života seniorů v rezidenčních zařízeních.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The first part of the thesis deals with the description of historical efforts and attempts to deliberately use the contacts of the man and the dog to positively influence the quality of life of selected social groups. It comprehensively discusses the method of canistherapy, its terminology, methodology and an explanation of its nature on the level of human animal interactions. The second part of the thesis focuses on clients senior citizens, it analyzes the aspects of the phenomenon of aging and it presents concrete possibilities of canistherapy in meeting the needs of senior citizens and influencing their quality of life in a positive way. The goal of the practical part is to determine the degree of satisfaction of senior citizens depending on the application of the canistherapy method and its impact on the quality of life of senior citizens in residential facilities.
