Předmětem předkládané diplomové práce je zkoumání kvality života osob s mentálním postižením po procesu transformace sociálních služeb. Diplomová práce se pokouší pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a případových studií seznámit čtenáře se subjektivním vnímáním životního příběhu osob s mentálním postižením v celé jeho šíři a hloubce. Snaží se odhalit kladné i stinné stránky, které proces transformace do života osob s mentálním postižením přináší. Nabízí srovnání kvality života osob s postižením před a po procesu transformace sociálních služeb a dává nahlédnout do osudů a životních mezníků osob s mentálním postižením, jenž byly významně ovlivněny dětstvím a dospíváním v období socialismu. |

The subject of this thesis is to investigate the quality of life of persons with mental disabilities after a process of transformation of social services. This thesis tries through interviews and case studies to familiarize the reader with the subjective perception of the life story of people with intellectual disabilities in all its breadth and depth. It tries to uncover the positive and the downsides that the process of transforming the lives of persons with mental disablement brings. It offers a comparison of the quality of life of people with disabilities before and after the process of transformation of social services and gives an insight into the lives and milestones of life of people with mental disabilities who have been significantly affected by childhood and adolescence in the period of socialism. |
