dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá informovaností pacientů s onemocněním diabetes mellitus II. typu o komplikacích onemocnění a jejich prevenci. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části: teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se skládá ze šesti kapitol. První kapitola definuje onemocnění, jako takové. Zaměřuje se na jeho patofyziologii, klasifikaci a na příznaky choroby. Další kapitoly se věnují diagnostice, léčbě, komplikacím, specifikám péče a edukaci v rámci onemocnění. Praktická část vyhodnocuje dotazníkové šetření, které probíhalo na diabetologických ambulancích a odděleních interního typu. Na závěr porovnává míru informovanosti u diabetiků II. typu s různými typy terapie a mezi mužským a ženským pohlavím.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis deals with the awareness of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus about disease complications and their prevention. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of the six chapters. The first section defines a disease itself. It focuses on its pathophysiology, classification and symptoms of the disease. Other chapters include diagnostics, treatment, complications, care specifics and disease education. The practical part evaluates a questionnaire research which was realized in the specialized diabetologist outpatients departments and internal type departments. At the conclusion it compares the level of awareness of patients with type 2 diabetes with different type of treatment and between men and women.
