dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na historické události, které popisují počátky chirurgické profese jako medicínského odvětví a následně vývoj chirurgického ošetřovatelství. Popsán je vývoj ve světě a následně v České republice. Práce má seznámit odbornou i laickou veřejnost s osobnostmi, které se určitým způsobem podílely na vývoji chirurgie do její sou-časné podoby. Součástí práce je průzkum zabývající se znalostmi historického a současného ošetřovatelství u všeobecných sester a to formou dotazníkového šetření, jehož výsledky jsou též součástí práce.

dc.description.abstract-translated	Bachelor thesis is focused on historical events that describe the origins of the surgical pro-fession as a medical industry and consequently the progression of surgical nursing. In thesis is described the progression in the world and subsequently in the Czech Republic. The goal of thesis is to acquaint professional and laic public with the personalities that have in some way contributed to the progression of surgery to its actual form. The thesis includes research on the historical and current knowledge of nursing at nurses in form of a questionnaire. The results of questionnaire are also part of the thesis.
