dc.description.abstract	Tato práce se zabývá využitím biografie klienta v péči v pobytových zařízeních sociálních služeb pro seniory. Teoretická část objasňuje pojmy stáří a stárnutí, seznamuje nás s aktuálním stavem seniorů v ČR, s historií péče o seniory, zejména poukazuje na rozdíly v péči před a po roce 1989, vyjmenovává druhy pobytových zařízení pro seniory a především popisuje základy psychobiografického modelu péče podle Erwina Böhma. Cílem praktické části je zjistit využití prvků biografie klienta v péči ve vybraném pobytovém zařízení pro seniory a názor pracovníků sociálních služeb tohoto zařízení na její přínos pro práci s touto cílovou skupinou.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis deals with the use of client´s biography in care in residential social services for the elderly. The teoretical part explains age and ageing concepts, it introduces us to the current status of seniors in the Czech Republic, to the history of care for the elderly, it points in particular to differences in care befor and after 1989, it listed types of residential facilities for the elderly and mainly it describes the basics of the psychobiographic model of care according to Erwin Böhm. The aim of the practical part is to find out use of client´s biography in care in selected residential service for the elderly and the opinion of the workers in these social service on its contribution to their work with this target group.
