dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem vnímání umírání a smrti v období pozdní adolescence. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část, která obsahuje tři kapitoly a část empirickou. Teoretická část se zabývá problematikou umírání a smrti, strachem z umírání a smrti, bolestí, která může být průvodcem umírání a vlivem víry a náboženství na vnímání umírání a smrti. Dále se zaměřuje na paliativní a hospicovou péči a pozornost věnuje období adolescence, a to zejména té pozdní. Empirická část je založena na výsledcích kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl proveden formou dotazníkového šetření. Hlavním cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, jak vnímají umírání a smrt pozdní adolescenti. Výzkumný soubor je tvořen 295 respondenty. Výsledky bylo zjištěno, že pro větší část respondentů je smrt součástí procesu života. Signifikantní rozdíl mezi strachem ze smrti a pohlavím a strachem ze smrti a vírou respondentů nebyl prokázán.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis deals with the perception of dying and death during late adolescence. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, comprising three chapters, and an empirical part. The theoretical section deals with issues surrounding dying and death, fear of dying and death, the pain that can accompany dying, and the influence of faith and religion on the perception of dying and death. It also focuses on palliative and hospice care, with particular attention to the period of adolescence, especially the late stage. The empirical part is based on the results of quantitative research conducted through a questionnaire survey. The main aim of the research was to ascertain how late adolescents perceive dying and death. The research sample consists of 295 respondents. The results revealed that for the majority of respondents, death is a part of the life process. No significant difference between fear of death and respondents' gender or fear of death and respondents' faith was found.
