dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje roli všeobecné sestry v prevenci ventilátorové pneumonie u dospělých pacientů vyžadujících umělou plicní ventilaci. Práce byla vypracována jako přehledová studie, přičemž odborné prameny byly vyhledány prostřednictvím systematické rešerše v databázích PubMed, ProQuest Central, Web of Science a Wiley Online Library. Výsledky přehledové studie ukazují, že nejefektivnějšími preventivními strategiemi jsou subglotické odsávání, polohování pacienta a implementace souboru opatření (care bundles). Ve všech těchto oblastech hraje sestra klíčovou roli při jejich realizaci. Správné zavedení těchto intervencí přispívá ke snížení incidence ventilátorové pneumonie.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This bachelor thesis focuses on the role of the general nurse in the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia in adult patients requiring artificial pulmonary ventilation. The thesis was conducted as a review study, and scholarly sources were retrieved through a systematic search of PubMed, ProQuest Central, Web of Science, and Wiley Online Library databases. The results of the review show that the most effective prevention strategies are subglittic suctioning, patient positioning and implementation of care bundles. In all of these areas, the nurse plays a key role in their implementation. Proper implementation of these interventions contributes to reducing the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia.
