dc.description.abstract	V bakalářské práci se zabýváme vyhledáváním, popisem a analýzou odborných studií zaměřených na využití zooterapie v domovech pro seniory. Práce je koncipována jako přehledová studie. V teoretické části se věnujeme problematice stáří a stárnutí, přičemž analyzujeme fyziologické i psychické aspekty tohoto procesu. Poté se zaměřujeme na samotnou zooterapii, její formy (canisterapii, felinoterapii a hippoterapii) a její dopad na kvalitu života seniorů. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy dostupných odborných studií získat nové poznatky a prohloubit porozumění přínosům zooterapie v péči o seniory.

dc.description.abstract-translated	In the bachelor's thesis, we focus on identifying, describing, and analyzing scholarly studies on the use of animal-assisted therapy in nursing homes for the elderly. The thesis is designed as a literature review. The theoretical part addresses the issues of aging and old age, analyzing both physiological and psychological aspects of these processes. Subsequently, attention is given to animal-assisted therapy itself, its various forms (canine-assisted therapy, feline-assisted therapy, and hippotherapy), and its impact on the quality of life of elderly individuals. The aim of this thesis is to obtain new insights and deepen the understanding of the benefits of animal-assisted therapy in elderly care based on the analysis of relevant academic studies.
