dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá učebnicemi angličtiny z pohledu učitelů 1. stupně ZŠ. Teoretická část vymezuje pojem učebnice, její funkce, strukturu a způsoby využití ve výuce. Pozornost se dále věnuje specifikům učebnic angličtiny pro 1. stupeň ZŠ, jejich roli ve výuce a charakteristickým rysům, včetně možností hodnocení pomocí kontrolních seznamů. Výzkumná část si klade za cíl odhalit, jak učitelé 1. stupně ZŠ hodnotí učebnice angličtiny, jak je využívají ve výuce a jaké vnímají jejich silné a slabé stránky. Práce prezentuje výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu realizovaného prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s učiteli anglického jazyka, jejichž odpovědi byly analyzovány metodou otevřeného kódování. Výsledky ukazují, že učitelé při výběru učebnic upřednostňují vlastní zkušenost, přehlednost, jasnou strukturu a kvalitu obrazového materiálu. Práce přináší doporučení pro budoucí výběr, tvorbu a využívání učebnic ve výuce anglického jazyka na 1. stupni ZŠ.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The master's thesis focuses on English language textbooks from the perspective of primary school teachers. The theoretical part defines the concept of a textbook, its functions, structure, and ways of use in teaching. It further addresses the specifics of English textbooks for primary school, their role in teaching, and their characteristic features, including possibilities for evaluation using checklists. The research part aims to reveal how primary school teachers evaluate English textbooks, how they use them in their teaching, and what strengths and weaknesses they perceive. The thesis presents the results of qualitative research conducted through semi-structured interviews with English language teachers, whose responses were analyzed using open coding. The findings show that teachers prioritize their own experience, clarity, clear structure, and the quality of visual materials when choosing textbooks. The thesis offers recommendations for the future selection, development, and use of textbooks in English language teaching at the primary school level.
