dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se věnuje aktuálnímu fenoménu tzv. "generace deprese" z pohledu žáků českých středních škol. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit míru výskytu depresivního syndromu mezi adolescenty a analyzovat jeho emoční a fyzické projevy, včetně výskytu suicidálních tendencí. Práce se rovněž zaměřila na srovnání míry depresivity napříč jednotlivými ročníky střední školy. K získání dat byla využita Beckova sebeposuzovací stupnice deprese. Výsledky ukázaly, že více než polovina dotázaných vykazuje mírné až těžké známky depresivního syndromu, přičemž nejvyšší výskyt byl zaznamenán u žáků čtvrtého ročníku. Hypotéza o rovnoměrné míře výskytu mezi ročníky se tak nepotvrdila. Mezi nejčastěji uváděné symptomy patřila podrážděnost, ztráta energie, poruchy spánku a snížený zájem o běžné aktivity. Důležitým zjištěním je také přítomnost suicidálních myšlenek u každého desátého respondenta, což poukazuje na nutnost efektivních preventivních opatření a dostupnosti krizové pomoci ve školním prostředí.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis focuses on the current phenomenon of the so-called 'depression generation' from the perspective of Czech secondary school students. The aim of the research was to determine the level of depressive syndrome among adolescents and to analyse its emotional and physical manifestations, including the occurrence of suicidal tendencies. The work also focused on comparing the rates of depression across high school grades. The Beck Self-Report Depression Scale was used to collect data. The results showed that more than half of the respondents showed moderate to severe signs of depressive syndrome, with the highest prevalence noted in fourth graders. Thus, the hypothesis of an even prevalence rate between grades was not supported. The most frequently reported symptoms were irritability, loss of energy, sleep disturbance and reduced interest in normal activities. The presence of suicidal ideation in one in ten respondents is also an important finding, highlighting the need for effective preventive measures and the availability of crisis support in the school setting.
