dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou zobrazování italsko-americké kulturní identity prostřednictvím mužských a ženských postav v televizním seriálu Rodina Sopránů (1999-2007). Teoretická část této práce se zaměřuje na historické a kulturní pozadí Italoameričanů od 19. do 21. století. Praktická část práce obsahuje stručné představení seriálu, po kterém následuje analýza kulturních identit postav a vlivu organizovaného zločinu na jejich vývoj.

The focus in the theoretical part of this work is on the historical and cultural background of Italian-Americans from the 19th to the 21st century. The practical section of the thesis features a brief introduction to the series, followed by an analysis of the characters' cultural identities and the impact of organized crime on their development.
