dc.description.abstract	Předmětem bakalářské práce je zkoumání vlivu totální thyreoidektomie (chirurgické odstranění celé štítné žlázy) na vývoj orbitopatie u pacientů s onemocněním Gravesovy ? Basedowovy choroby. V teoretické části se zaměřuji na anatomii štítné žlázy, fyziologii, nejčastější onemocnění štítné žlázy, diagnostiku onemocnění a léčbu. Dále na anatomii orbity, vymezení pojmů endokrinní orbitopatie a Morbus Basedow. V praktické části jsem prováděla výzkum na základě sestaveného protokolu studie, za účelem zjištění vlivu thyreoidektomie (odstranění štítné žlázy) na vývoj očních příznaků Basedowovy choroby. Náplní práce bylo kvantitativně vyjádřit dopad thyreoidektomie na vliv příznaků orbitopatie u Gravesovy ? Basedowovy choroby. Respondenty tvořila skupina pacientů, kteří byli operováni na našem pracovišti v letech 2002 ? 2012. Cílem bylo zjistit vliv chirurgické léčby na vývoj orbitopatie, se zjištěním počtu pacientů vyžadujících následnou konzervativní terapii a případně oční korekční operace.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	The subject of the present bachelor thesis is research of total thyreoidectomy (surgical removal of total thyroid) impact on orbitopathy development in patients with Morbus Graves ? Basedow. In the theoretical part I focused on the anatomy and physiology of the thyroid, its mostfrequent diseases, diagnostics and therapy. Subsequently I concentrated on the orbit anatomy and term definitions of endocrinal orbitopathy and Morbus Basedow. In the practical part I performed research based on a structural study protocol in order to find out thyreoidectomy (surgical removal of thyroid) impact on the development of ophtalmological symptoms of Morbus Basedow. The objective was to express quantitatively the thyreoidectomy effect on the impact of orbitopathy symptoms in Morbus Graves ? Basedow. The control group consisted of patients who underwent surgery in our department from 2002 to 2012. The aim was to find out the effect of surgical therapy on the development of orbitopathy and o set down the number of patients in need of subsequent conservative therapy or ophtalmological corrective surgery.	en
