Teoretická část bakalářské práce se v úvodu zabývá diabetem mellitem samotným a jeho možnými akutními komplikacemi, dále je zaměřena na chirurgickou problematiku u osoby s diabetem (popis předoperační přípravy a pooperační péče u nemocných s diabetem). Praktická část se pak zaměřuje na zjištění, zda mají sestry, které se podílí na předoperační a pooperační péči o osoby s diabetem, znalosti o diabetu mellitu, o předoperační přípravě, pooperační péči a možných komplikacích diabetu mellitu. Dále pak mapuje na ortopedickém a chirurgickém oddělení Nemocnice Přerov, jakým způsobem se na těchto odděleních připravuje osoba s diabetem k operaci a jak o ni v pooperačním období pečují. |

The theoretical part of the thesis deals, in its introductory part, with diabetes mellitus itself and its possible acute complications. It is also focused on possible surgery-related aspects in diabetic persons (the description of pre-surgical preparation of, and post-surgical care for diabetic persons). The practical part is aimed at assessing whether nurses who participate in pre-surgical and post-surgical preparation care for diabetic persons, diabetes mellitus-related knowledge, pre-surgical preparation, post-surgical treatment, and possible diabetes mellitus complica-tions. In addition to that it maps, at the Orthopaedic and Surgical wards of Prerov Hospital, how diabetic persons are prepared for surgery, and how they are cared for in the post-surgical stage. |
